Object Dating

The basis for this project stemmed from a set brief, to look at the roll of the prehistoric hand axe. There is speculation that the hand axe was not in fact used as a cutting tool but was used for sexual selection, built to attract potential mates and used during courtship.

Using this as a starting point I was interested to see what objects we would now use to find a date. It works by the user uploading 5 images of objects that would represent them on the website. Then once they have uploaded their objects and filled out a few details about age and gender they can search the other peoples object profiles and request a date.
